measure
height with Sunday shoes on and heels against
the wall
|
|
|
Height:
Fasten a measuring chart or tape to the wall and stand
straight against the wall chart, with "Sunday"
shoes on, and heels against the wall. The back of the
head should touch the chart. Have someone place a ruler
on top of your head, parallel to the floor. Your total
height in shoes should be used for comparing to our
QS size charts. |
|
Chest:
Take this measurement over the garments that you will
be wearing. With arms relaxed, measure around the
fullest part of the chest, under the arms and across
the shoulder blades in the back. The tape should be
snug but not too tight. Keep tape parallel to the
floor.

measure sleeve from the center of
the back, over the shoulder, around the extended elbow
and down to the wrist bone.
|
Sleeve:
Shirt sleeve lengths are required to properly fit all
pulpit robes, clergy jackets, and clergy cassocks. If
you know your exact shirt sleeve length, you may use
this size. measure sleeve from the center of the back,
over the shoulder, around the extended elbow and down
to the wrist bone. |
Band
Cinctures:
Band Cinctures are usually worn over street
clothing, including pants and a belt, as well as over
a clergy cassock. Therefore it is very important to
add extra inches beyond a normal "belt"
size, which would be too small. To measure for a Band
Cincture, wrap a tape measure around the stomach where
the cincture will be worn, over street clothing. Add
4" to this measurement to allow for cassock thickness
and comfort. Use this measurement to determine your
Band Cincture Size.
